Harborwood Farm ("we," "us"), located at 3525 Harborwood Rd., Salem, Virginia 24153, respects your privacy. This policy describes what information we collect through harborwoodfarm.com and our messaging programs, and how we use it.

Information we collect

When you contact us, express interest in an open house, or register for membership, lessons, or events, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, emergency contact, and information needed to provide riding services safely (such as rider experience level and signed release forms).

How we use it

• To provide and administer memberships, rides, lessons, events, and farm stays
• To send confirmations, schedule changes, weather cancellations, and account notices
• To respond to your inquiries

We do not sell your personal information.

SMS / text messaging program

Harborwood Farm sends text messages to members and interested visitors who opt in — for example ride confirmations, weather cancellations, waitlist updates, and event reminders.

• Opt-in: You consent to receive texts when you provide your mobile number and agree to SMS notifications during registration or inquiry on our website. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
• Message frequency varies with your activity and ride schedule.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Opt-out: Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (540) 302-6917.
• No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except as required to deliver the messages (our SMS service provider) or as required by law.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us operate (payment processing, email and SMS delivery, scheduling), with Green Hill Park Equestrian Center when you ask us to process a GHPEC membership on your behalf, or as required by law.

Data retention & your choices

We keep records as long as needed to operate the club and meet legal obligations (including signed releases). You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.

Children

Registration is completed by adults. Information about minor riders is provided by a parent or legal guardian as part of family membership and release forms.
